School Year 2010-11 Accession results for Kansas State Army ROTC

Another great year for the WILDCAT BATTALION cadets:

1. Of the 30 Cadets commissioning this year, 4 were in the top 10% of the National Order Merit List. Congratulations to Cadet Easterling who ranked in the top 3% of newly commissioned US Army 2nd Lieutenants.

2. 13 of our Cadets commissioning this year were designated Distinguished Military Graduates (DMG’s) ranking them among the top 20% of over 5400 Cadets nationwide. The Wildcat Battalion had the most DMG Cadets in our Brigade of 40 programs, had 50% of the DMG’s from the entire state of Kansas, and had the 4th most DMG Cadets in the nation out of 273 host programs.

3. Again this year, Kansas State Army ROTC will exceed its commissioning mission by 141% when we commission 30 new lieutenants and achieved another record enrollment in the fall of 2011 with 171 Cadets.

4. Congratulations to our Pershing Rifles Company G7 for being named National Champions in the Platoon Exhibition Drill and 2nd Place in Color Guard at the National Drill Competition held on the Ohio State campus.
